1. Mangrove Bay Golf Course
This 18-hole layout of par-72 is located on 180 acres of land featuring USGA modified Platinum Paspalum greens.
In addition, a full practice facility, driving range, instruction from PGA professionals, pro shop, and club house with a snack bar are all available.
Golf for Women magazine named Mangrove Bay Golf Course as one of the Top 100 Most Women Friendly Golf Courses.
The course also had great reviews from Golf Digest in the “Best Places to Play”, noting that it is a great municipal course, well maintained, and excellent value.
How Much Does it Cost at Mangrove Bay Golf Course?
Effective May 1, through October 31, 2021 (subject to change).
Greens Fees for 18 holes are $27 and $13 for 9 holes (tee off before 8:00 am). Discount rates are $18.90 and $9.45.
The twilight rate after 3:00 pm is $17 with a discount rate of $11.90.
The electric cart fee is $12 for 18 holes, $6 for 9 holes, and $9 for twilight.
Resident discount card rates are $125 for individuals and $190 including spouses

Facilities
A driving range is available, as well as a practice putting green, chipping, pitching, and bunker greens.
Range balls cost $5.61 for a small bucket, $7.48 for a large bucket, and $9.35 for an extra-large bucket.
One-on-one private instruction is available for $45 for a single half-hour lesson, or $225 for a series of six lessons.
Rates for 2-3 students are $60 for 45 minutes or $300 for a series of six lessons.

Locker and shower facilities, club rentals, pull carts, tournaments, leagues, outings, and a fully stocked pro shop and snack bar are also available.

2. Twin Brooks Golf Course
For a small golf course of just 9 holes and par 27, it doesn’t get any better than Twin Brooks Golf Course.
Located near South Pinellas beaches, water comes into play on six holes in this beautifully kept, entertaining course.
The course also includes three extra practice holes, a practice area, and an 18-station driving range.
How Much Does it Cost at Twin Brooks Golf Course?
Effective May 1, through October 31:
Greens fees are $12 and $6 for 9 holes replay.
Discount rates are $8.40 and $4.20 for 9-hole replay.
Practice access fee is $10. For those that wish to ride an electric cart, the fee is only $4.50 per golfer.
Individual resident discount cards are $65. Discount cards including spouses are $95 and $25 for juniors.

3. Mainlands Golf Course
This par 67 course is now in its 49th year of continuous operation.
Consisting of two par 5, seven par 3, and nine par 4 throughout the course, the Mainlands Golf Course is a great test of golf without having to be a long hitter to enjoy.
Some of the par 4s are reachable by the longest hitters, and the par 5s are reachable in two by some with eagle possibilities.
The Florida Links style course has a great reputation in the area for its affordable prices and immaculate conditions.
The course also has a fully stocked pro shop and snack bar.
A fountain is adjacent to the putting green that honors Wiliam A. Blair, who passed away in 2015.
Since then, the legacy of the course has been passed down to his children and grandchildren.
Located in Pinellas County, the course is very accessible for all in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
How Much Does it Cost at Mainlands Golf Course?
Note that the rates posted on the course website are for April.
Contact the course to see if those rates are different for the rest of the year.
Morning rates for 18 holes are $30 plus tax for riding and $25 plus tax for walking. Nine-hole rates are available at $20 plus tax for riding and $15 plus tax for walking.
Rates for those with tee times from 11 am to 2 pm are $25 plus tax to ride for 18 holes and $20 plus tax for walkers.
Twilight rates (tee times of 2 pm or later) are $20 plus tax walking or riding.
Those active in the military, enjoy riding at walking prices. Junior rates are half price, just mention ‘Uncle Julio’ to receive the junior discount.
For those that wish to ride along as a caddy or just to enjoy the experience of being on the course without playing, there is a small fee of $9.
