Pompano Beach Municipal Golf Course
Recently renovated and redesigned, the Greg Norman Signature Pines Course at the Pompano Beach Municipal opened on January 1, 2013.
The Pines has received excellent reviews from golfers both local and visiting. The design is state of the art with TifEagle Greens and Celebration Bermuda fairways.
The Pines has maintained a loyal following of visitors, and for residents of Florida, the course is a well-known and enjoyed destination.
The Pompano Beach Men’s Golf Association—or PBMGA—came together in 1955 as an organization that offered Pompano Beach and nearby community golfers and visitors a way to enjoy the game they love through the 36-hole championship Pines public golf course.
How Much Does It Cost at Pompano Beach Municipal?
Pompano Beach Municipal features two courses: Palms Course and Pine Course.
Palms Course:
The rate for a full round of 18 holes, walking, any time before 4 pm is $16. After 4 pm the price drops to $13.
Annual members only have to pay $10 no matter the time.

Pines Course:
A full round of 18 holes with a Cart before 1 pm at the Pines Course is $35 and $32 between 1 pm and 4 pm.

After 4 pm the price drops to $27. Annual members only have to pay $20 no matter the time of day for the Pines Course.
Facilities
The Pompano Beach Municipal offers a whole host of facilities. There is a public dog park called the Canine Corner Dog Park where families can bring their pets to play.
The Municipal has 16 lighted clay Tennis courts with hydro underground water systems. They offer a wide range of Tennis lessons and coaching options.
For hosting events they have the fully operational Charlotte J. Burrie Civic Center, the Herb Skolnick Community Center, E. Pat Larkins Community Center, and Emma Lou Olsen Civic Center.
The Fishing Family Pier is a great spot for families to gather and enjoy some leisurely fishing time.
The Highlands Recreation Center has many options including a basketball court and playground.
The McNair Recreational Center has a full-size gymnasium, basketball, playground, and arts and crafts, game, and club room.
The Mitchell/Moore Recreational Center has the same plus football/soccer fields, softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, and volleyball courts.
There is also an Aquatic Center with pools and a pro shop.

Palm Aire Country Club
Founded by George Palmer and Harold Broiler, the Palm Aire dates back to 1959. A 50-room lodge opened in 1962. The Dixie Amateur, Florida Open, and South Florida Classic have all been hosted several times by the Palm Aire Country Club.
In 1971 a hotel and spa were added together with the development of the Oaks course. In 1972, the Cypress course was added.
The course has hosted a slew of well-known people like Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, Elizabeth Taylor, and even Billy Jean King was a resident tennis pro.
Tom and George Fazio designed the Oaks and Cypress courses, and the Palms was designed by William Mitchell.
How Much Does It Cost at Palm Aire Country Club?
The Cypress, Oaks, and Palms courses all feature the same prices, and all fees include Carts–which is quite handy.
Monday through Thursday before 1 pm the rate is $46, Monday through Thursday after 1 pm the price drops to $36.
Friday before 1 pm it’s $52, and after 1 pm it’s $42. Weekends and holidays before 1 pm the rate is $58 and after 1 pm it drops to $48.

Facilities
The Palm Aire Country Club features a full-service dining area that serves meals at all hours of the day including breakfast and lunch.
The dining area is also a banquet that can host events from business meetings to special celebrations.
The Oaks Dining Room is a spacious and well-laid-out area that can accommodate up to 100 people.
The Oaks Lounge, located within the Oaks dining room, features beverages, HD TVs, and looks out over the course.
The Cypress Room is a garden-view banquet room. It was recently renovated and can host up to 115 people. The Cypress Room, just like the Oaks Dining Room, is available to host events and celebrations.
The Palms Clubhouse has a causal resting area, serves drinks, and has HD TVs.

Deer Creek Golf Club
Deer Creek Golf Club opened in 1971 and is privately owned. The club has a long and proud history of hosting both professional and amateur tournaments.
When designing Deer Creek, well-regarded architect Arthur Hills chose to craft undulated, rolling, and plush landscapes—not a typical look in South Florida.
In 2004, Deer Creek Golf Club underwent renovations and now the club purports to be in its best shape. Deer Creek promises challenges and enjoyment for golfers of all levels.
How Much Does It Cost at Deer Creek Golf Club?
Until April 25: A full round of 18 holes Monday through Friday costs $89 in the AM and PM and Twilight drops to $50. Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays run at $99 for AM but stays the same for PM at $89. Twilight is also the same remaining at $50.
April 26 through October 31: Monday through Friday AM and PM cost $50 and Twilight is $35. Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays are $75 in the AM, $50 in the PM, and $35 for Twilight.

Facilities
The Deer Creek Clubhouse features banquet, dining, retail, and locker room facilities. They have outdoor gazebo areas that are available for events such as weddings or parties.
The Deer Creek Grille can host anywhere from 30 to 300 people, and even has a private bridal suite.
The Pro Shop is 2,500 square feet and stocks the latest designer equipment, clothing, and sportswear and has been recognized as “Merchandiser of the Year” by the PGA of America and employs PGA Professionals.
